Eureka Scholarships

Eureka Scholarships were distributed 5th and 8th March 2008 at Nemili and Banavaram of Vellore district. 70 students of Nemili and 60 students of banavaram were benefited with the scholarships.

Award Ceremony for Eureka Volunteers

Award Ceremony for Eureka Education’s Volunteers and “Padippum Inikkum” Programme were together held on 15th Dec 07 at Kalavai village of Timiri union in Vellore district. District's corporation primary school Principal Renugopal presided over the celebrations held at the primary school. Village Chief Sethu Ravi, Principal Anbumani and Chamundeswari were the chief guests. Rural volunteers of Timiri union were honored and issued certificates.

"Manthirama Thanthirama" - Science Fair

A science fair was conducted on 4th Nov 07 at Panavaram Govt Boys High School of Kaverippakkam union in Vellore district. 50 students in 5 groups participated in the fair and demonstrated various science experiments with explanations. As a part of the fair, “Mandhirama-Thandhirama?” programme was shown to the students. Certificates were issued to the students took part in the programme. Mr.S. Karunakaran, an NCC official, presided over the function.

Training Camp for Graduates

A 3-day Training Camp for graduates was held on 10th Oct 07 at EVR Nagammai High School. Around 600 teachers from Vellore, Thiruvannamalai and Krishnagiri districts participated in the camp. AID India trainers – Ambed, Praveen, Sharmila, Ravanan Kadirvel and Kalaiselvi trained the teachers. The teachers were split into 7 groups and trained for “Paddippum Innikum” and 3 groups for “Ariviyal Anandam”. Vellore Training camp SSA-CEO and ADPC were the supervisors of the camp.
